School Hours, Arrival & Dismissal

SCHOOL HOURS:  

7:00 -- School building is open

7:35 --Students Report to Class

7:45 -- Instruction begins/late bell rings

2:45 --  Bus riders dismissed

2:50 --  Car riders dismissed

3:00 -- All students must be picked up

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL

The school will open each morning at 7:00. Students should be dropped off in the front circle. Do not drop off in ANY parking lot. It is unsafe for your child, and school employees need clear access to parking spaces. The back circle is reserved for buses and for parents who are dropping off a student with special needs. If you choose to walk your child to the door, please park in a parking space and not in the front circle.

Students eating breakfast should go directly into the cafeteria. All other students will have designated seating in the gym. At 7:35, the bus duty teachers will release the students to walk to their classrooms. Please help us with this policy even if you are walking your child to the building. This morning time represents some of the teacher’s planning time for the day and they are busy preparing for class; therefore, students are not allowed in the classrooms during this time.
