About Ms. Atkins

I am starting my 24th year of teaching for Bradley County Schools. I have been at Waterville for the entire 24 years.

Before coming to Waterville I taught in a private preschool/kindergarten. I love learning and teaching. The moment a child's eyes light up showing that they understand or realize they have just learned something new is amazing.  My goal is to help each child reach his/her potential, and help prepare them for the future.

 

I have two wonderfully, amazing girls and an equally amazing son-in-law.  Amanda is in her final year of PT school and will graduate in May with her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.  She has been married to Anthony Johnson for just over a year. Anthony has a Forestry Degree and works for Sequatchie Valley Electric. They currently live in Dunlap, TN.  Miranda is a Sophomore at Lee University, she plans to enter the Education Field when she graduates.
