2023-2024 PAT Classes

Poetry Palooza: Students will read, recite, and write poetry and learn about famous poets. Culminating activity: publish poetry collection of their best work: acrostic, limerick, haiku, cinquain, shape poem, etc.and publicly showcasing an original poem or recitation of a favorite poem.

Jr. Beta Club: Students are invited to join as a member to promote the ideals of the four pillars of the Jr. Beta Club by recognizing and honong high academic achievement, character by preparing students for life and empowering them to be successful, developing leadership skills, and service demonstrating the motto "Let Us Lead by Serving Others."

Theatre: Students will gain confidence performing in front of others by using their voice and body to create characters. We will learn about the history and creation of theatre, as well as play many theatre games while learning skills such as listening, articulation, and movement.

Tech Team: 5th grade students, who are tech leaders in their classroom, will be chosen to serve as tech leaders for the school. We will work on developing and strengthening their skills in leadership, technology, and soft skills. We will create various projects, such as posters, billboards, videos, etc., that will promote good digital citizenship and our school.

Cartoon Club: 2nd-5th students will explore the fun and art of creating cartoon characters, drawing futuristic city-scapes, playing with 3D perspective in a 2D medium, and how to present a great joke through panels of storytelling.
