Dear Waterville Elementary Families,
On behalf of the Waterville Community Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), let me welcome you to the PTO webpage. My name is Brandi Johnson and I am so excited to be your WCES PTO President for the 2019-2020 school year. My husband, David, and I have four children. I have enjoyed getting to know our school, its staff and our wonderful families by being involved in the PTO and working with WCES. It has been a great way to know what is going on and to feel part of our community.
As a parent with a child at WCES, you are automatically a member of the PTO. Our purpose is to support the teachers and administration at WCES by providing educational, financial, and social support; something we could not accomplish without parent participation. We would love for you to show your support by participating in the events and activities planned throughout the year. Your participation might be that of a committee member, volunteer, or as an attendee. Whatever level of participation you select, your time and involvement will certainly be appreciated.
The WCES PTO plans and sponsors several events during the year. Please see the link labeled “PTO Calendar 2019-2020” for a list of dates for the school year. We would love to have you join us at each and every event! You can also click on the links labeled “PTO Board 2019-2020” to see a list of the current committee members and a description of the committees’ responsibilities. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in volunteering.
We are all parents trying to give our kids the best educational and social experience possible. This could not happen without the donation of time and resources from all of you. We are truly lucky to have the amazing family we do at WCES, from the staff to the parents to our kids.
