About the Teacher...
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to work with children so becoming an elementary teacher was the answer to my prayer. I have been teaching in an elementary setting since 1997 and have been with Bradley County Schools since 1999. In addition to providing students with an education, it is my desire that, when in my classroom, they feel safe, loved and respected. I have a Bachelor of Science for Early Childhood Education from Berry College and a Master of Education from Arkansas State University. I have taught remedial education programs, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and now kindergarten. I love what I do.
I have an adult daughter that attended Bradley County Schools, kindergarten through 12th grade. As a parent, I appreciated the hard work and dedication her teachers poured into her education; they always made her feel that she mattered. We were involved in many after school extracurricular activities, provided through Bradley County Schools, such as: PAT classes, cheerleading, sports teams, and student council. I am very satisfied with the overall experience our school system provided.
