All About Me......

My name is Kerrie Stewart and I am excited to be the Kindergarten Assistant for Mrs. Dempsey. I have worked for the Bradley County School system for the past 5 years with being a Substitute for 2 years,a Computer Lab Assistant for Waterville, Instructional Assistant in Reading for Waterville and as of November 2017 Mrs. Dempsey's assistant. Whew! As you can tell I love being a part of the Waterville Community and enjoy being able to help our amazing students. 

I grew up in Washington State and after graduating there, attended Lee University and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Human Development. I have been happily married for 16 years and have a daughter who is a Freshman in high school and a son who is a 5th grader here at Waterville.

I enjoy all kinds of music, took piano lessons for 12 years, Flute for 3, play the Ukulele, and am currently teaching myself how to play a 5 string banjo. I also sing in the choir at my church.

My family keeps me busy as we love travelling, spending time on the soccer pitch, volleyball gym and softball field. We also enjoy winter sports like snow skiing, snow boarding, and snow mobilling,

This is going to be an exciting year in Kindergarten and at Waterville Community, and I am glad to be a part of it!!!
